Why The Everyday Library? Libraries today are constantly changing to adapt to new technology, reading styles, trends, and community needs. Librarians are a creative bunch who deal with different things every single day. On any given day a school librarian might need to pitch a book to a reluctant reader, collaborate with a classroom teacher, lead or attend PD, clean smashed raisins off a picture book . . . it goes on.
The goal of The Everyday Library is to share lesson ideas, tips for running a library, ways to collaborate, as well as book reviews (for kids' and adult lit), reading recs, and more. Let me know what you think by commenting, emailing me at theeverydaylibrary@gmail.com, or by connecting with me on Twitter and Instagram. You can also visit my Teachers Pay Teachers store! I can't wait to hear from you!
